Central Sierra 4-H has once again partnered with AATCA to offer an introduction to suicide awareness workshop for our 4-H volunteers. After much discussion, we have modified the offering to make it easier for volunteers to attend. We know you are busy, but feel this is an important workshop. The scheduled workshop will be a 90-minute suicide awareness discussion and afterward you'll be given a code to take the 1 1/2 hour online training “eSuicideTALK: Suicide Awareness” which will give you a certificate of completion. This training is normally $20, but our partners are offering it to workshop attendees for free!
We will be meeting Thursday September 28th at 6pm in person at our Sonora office at OR via ZOOM (on-line) at our El Dorado Office. Our Sonora office is located at 52 North Washington St. (behind a small courtyard between the new courthouse on Washington St. and a few law offices) and our El Dorado Office is located at 311 Fair Lane (by the library or juvenile hall). You don't need to bring anything but maybe a note pad and a writing implement. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to make sure we start on time. Light snacks will be provided.
